Wm. Sidney Fogle - Executive Director

Sidney is a 1987 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, a 1983 graduate of Central City High School and is a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity.
 
He joined the Association in 1990, as Director of Education and was appointed Executive Director of FDAK and KFDBA in 2005. In addition,
he is a registered lobbyist with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  Prior to working with the Association, Sidney was a three-year employee
with The Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, working in several areas of the hotel in management positions.
 
Sidney currently lives in Louisville and is a member of the Ninth & O Baptist Church where he works with the youth. He has been on several
overseas mission trips and led a team to North Africa in November 2008.

 

Mark D. Crawford - Comptroller

Mark resides in Versailles with his wife Jill and their two children, Luke and Ava.  As a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Finance, he joined the association staff in May 1999, as the Comptroller. 
 
Mark is responsible for balancing the various bank accounts within the association, oversees accounts receivables/payables, mantains and sets budget requirements, works closely with auditors, filing tax returns, and oversees the office computer network.  Mark is a registered lobbyist for the Funeral Directors Association of KY and is also the State Convention Exhibit Manager, providing assistance to vendors displaying their goods at the annual convention.

Betty K. Creek - Executive Assistant

Betty is the Funeral Funding Trust of Kentucky Manager, the editor of the FDAK Membership Bulletin and the Treasurer of the FDAK Women’s Auxiliary. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville and resides in Shelby County with her husband Jim. She joined the Association in 1989. 

Betty is in charge of the daily operations of the Trust Program. Working closely with PNC Bank, she has always placed an emphasis on personal service with all Trust participants. She is familiar with Medicaid, Social Security Insurance and Preneed Laws for the State of Kentucky. As editor of the Membership Bulletin, she writes many articles and takes photographs.  She also does research to find other articles to include in the Bulletin that would be informative and/or entertaining to FDAK Members.

 


Kimberly M. House - Meeting & Convention Coordinator

Kim resides in Lawrenceburg with her husband Greg and his two children, Hunter and Laiken.  She joined the Association in August, 1995, and is the Meeting & Convention Coordinator. 

Kim is responsible for scheduling the continuing education classes, district meetings, Mid-Winter Conference, and State Convention dates and locations, as well as booking speakers and entertainers for those and various other off-site meetings throughout the year, as well as handling all aspects of registration for the classes and meetings. She works closely with hotel representatives to ensure that the appropriate accomodations and details are arranged.  Kim is also the custodian for the KFD Political Action Committee and assists the Comptroller with the associations accounts recievables and payables.


Cathy C. Spencer - Membership Coordinator

Cathy resides in Frankfort with her husband Chris and their daughter, Jennie, and joined the Association in October, 1995.  She is the Membership Coordinator for both the Funeral Directors Association of KY and the KY Funeral Directors Burial Association.

As Membership Coordiantor for FDAK, Cathy is responsible for issuing all membership dues mailings, maintaining the  membership database, and processing new applications for membership.  She also processes FDAK Scholarship applications and reports these requests to the Scholarship Committee for their consideration and approval, and Cathy also processes all of Funeral Funding Trust of Kentucky's daily deposits and claims. 

For KFDBA, Cathy maintains all aspects of KFDBA membership, including daily claims payments, issuing new stock certificates, processing stock redemptions, and reporting all activity to the KFDBA Board of Directors.

 

 


Anita C. Manley - Secretary/Receptionist

Anita resides in Frankfort with her husband Richard and two children, Khristian and Richie. She is a graduate of Midway College and joined the association in July of 2001. She is our Secretary and Receptionist. 

Anita answers the many calls that come into the association office each day and is responsible for all mailed correspondence coming in and going out of the FDAK office.  She produces the convention and conference programs and information, including the Service of Remembrance. Anita is responsible for death notices and records all donations made to the FDAK Scholarship Trust and Alan L. Leichhardt Endowment Funds as well as filling requests for forms and materials for the Funeral Funding Trust program.
